If you’re trying to get Entourage 2008 for the Mac to work with a Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server there’s a few things you need to know.
First, according to Microsoft, you need to install Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1 and Rollup 4. This seems to be correct.
Second, you need to go to your favorite search engine and find the Microsoft Web Services Update for Entourage 2008. In our tests, without this update you won’t be able to access your Exchange server using Exchange protocols.
If you hoped that the “Search for Updates” feature in Entourage would automatically find the Web Services update you’ll be dissapointed to realise it does not. You must locate and install the update yourself. Here’s a link to the update to save you the trouble of searching for it yourself.
